A school-based makerspace is a hands-on, creative environment where students can explore STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) and other interdisciplinary subjects. Fewer Tools for More Impact It’s not how much technology you use in the classroom that matters, but the degree to which students use it in a purposeful way. When it comes to technology, less is definitely more. Lengthy workshops or being pulled out of schools for even a day isn’t always practical or beneficial.
Advances in technology make listening to music an incredible experience these days. I typically prove this point during workshops where I ask a low-level question using a “what” question stem and Siri responds with the correct answer every time.
