Robots (or intelligent systems) can be very useful when they are tasked to complete some of the functions that teachers previously performed. I remember I used to go around, and I would give a presentation about the importance of online learning. At Duke we’ve been thinking about, like a lot of universities, a “robot-proof future,” and thinking about the sixty-year curriculum. We need to be thinking about that. But we’re not caught up to that now.
