Over the next two weeks I''m in New Zealand, doing a series of keynote presentations to teachers on the future of education and technologysupportedlearning. We hear about digital learning, e-learning, blended learning , mobilelearning, and even micro-learning.

By comparison, in its technologysupported multiple formats, contemporary distance education is much more sophisticated.
