Everywhere we go, here and there, people always seem to have a mobile device in their hands, be it a smartphone or a tablet. It’s almost a sin not to own a mobile device. Our mobile devices are online 24/7. Put that in the context of learning and what do you get? Mobilelearning of course.
Modern learning platforms also have social media-like features, such as a news feeds where school administrators and teachers can make announcements; a simple instant messaging system; and most importantly, a private messaging feature so users can send private messages to each other like they would through email.
Earlier this year, we worked in partnership with Project Tomorrow to ask students and K-12 administrators interesting questions about their online life and what happens using their schools’ collaboration tools. Not surprisingly, schools or districts are providing their students with a range of different mobilelearning devices.

Eduflow - A new learning management system where educators can create course, track students, generate detailed reports, and differentiate instruction. Edulastic - An innovative onlineassessment platform that makes it easy for teachers to differentiate instruction.
The edWebinar series will continue on a monthly basis throughout the school year, addressing topics that CoSN has covered in one-page briefs : Accessibility, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, MobileLearning, OnlineAssessment, Student Data Privacy, Smart Network Design, Strategic Technology Planning and Investment, and Closing the Homework Gap.
