They include Walmart , Facebook, which changed its name to Meta, and Microsoft, which recently purchased game developer Activision Blizzard for nearly $70 billion, as part of a stated goal to stake a claim in the metaverse.

The first was visiting Microsoft’s “ Education Underground ” and getting a tour of their “Garage”, an extensive makerspace for Microsoft’s employees to tinker and build. I also made wearables, an auto-tweeting bear and got involved with our high school’s First Robotics team.
