Book Creator has long been a favorite app on the iPad, and now it’s available for Google Chrome. Students who use Chromebooks, PCs, Macs, iPads, or any other device can now create books with this versatile, easy-to-use app. They can also send them as eBooks that people can read on their mobile devices or computers.

So we use the Paper 53 app on our iPads. Like our mobile devices, especially in science, is using that camera feature and having the students like capture a photo and annotate over the top of it. Use the camera feature on any mobile device. Expose students to various tools for taking notes — visual or other.

You just download it on Google Play or iTunes and use it with your touch Chromebook or iPad after listening to Tom Mullaney share how it works. But also on iPads and on Chromebooks that have the Play Store enabled, which is where education Chromebooks are going. Your kids could do this on an iPads tomorrow. Don’t get worried.

When you scan the cube with your mobile device — it will work with an iPhone, an iPad, and it works with Android, but you have to have the Merge Cube app on it. I love that this works with their individual mobile phone cameras. Additionally, even if we are only working on mobile devices, students can make a full video with b-roll and music on any of their devices. To access these features, just toggle from Auto to Pro. It uses film that was preloaded in the program.

When you download Metaverse onto your mobile device, click the “scan” button to launch the experience. The word “augmented” means “to add to something,” so we are adding another layer to reality. We are adding the digital world to our real, physical world. Every experience has a barcode.
