It goes beyond just telling people what to do by instead showing them how to do it as a means to either support learning or change. In the classroom, modeling aids in making concepts clear where students learn by observing. Learning, in many cases, results from observation (Holland & Kobasigawa, 1980).
This is the first article in our series about building professionallearning communities for online teachers. I wanted to find a video other than the 25-30 minute videos that would help me with ideas about how to make my class environment fun. It is also the same for those who are connected to socialmedia.
Finding time to engage in professionallearning can present a challenge for educators. So how can educators engage in professionallearning and find time to connect with other educators, when schedules and responsibilities make finding extra time difficult? How I have found time to connect and grow as an educator.

Blended Learning In my opinion, the best 21st-century classrooms are “bricks” and “clicks,” blending together the best of face-to-face and online. Blended learning is not new. Research around the pedagogy of effective blended learning will help you understand how to effectively combine your physical classroom and your online classroom.
After a weekly one-hour session, students feel closer to classmates and often add them to their ongoing PLN (ProfessionalLearning Network). Communicate With SocialMedia. They include popular platforms most students know how to use and are eager to incorporate into their learning — maybe already do.
When using socialmedia, think about the platforms being used and mix it up by mashing together text, hyperlinks, images, and video. Consider a daily or weekly YouTube video that can be embedded in a mass email to showcase how teachers are successfully implementing remote learning. This definitely applies now.
Educators now shoulder the burden to create lessons and activities that will enable students to learn at home. Virtually none have received extensive professionallearning in this area. My goal is to try to make it a little easier with some simple to use tips on how to leverage free tools. In this case, less is more.
Professionallearning : Research has shown, and continues to show, that job-embedded, ongoing professionallearning results in improved learning outcomes. Leaders can use free socialmedia tools to form a positive public relations platform and become the de facto news source for their school or district.
I often get asked both through socialmedia and in person how to become a consultant.
