(May 16, 2018) – Texas’ Richardson Independent School District (RISD) today announced it has selected Discovery Education , the leading provider of digital content and professional development for K-12 classrooms, to support the district’s new, three year “FutureReady: STEM for All” initiative.
Based on the theme “Passport to the Future,” the conference brought together attendees and Skyward leaders to discuss how districts can leverage education technology to put their future-ready district on the map. Presentations focused on improving engagement, reducing costs, and making data-driven decisions.
In addition, HSC’s new partnership with Discovery Education also supports the district’s FutureReady Preps initiative. This new effort seeks to personalize learning in the middle grades to meet every child where they are academically, expose them to a variety of potential careers, and support their social and emotional learning.
