This perspective stems from a lack of clarity about what blended learning is and why it is valuable. Blended learning can happen entirely in a classroom, online with strategic use of synchronous video conferencing sessions and asynchronous work, or a blend of the two. What Blended Learning Is.

This week I’ll be on a panel discussing the Future Classroom at this year’s STEM Summit hosted by Towson University. Already I’ve seen a switch to the “flippedclassroom” in science and math classes among many of my students, with mixed results. How will instruction change?
