After being involved in social media for over a decade, I have made a few observations that might be helpful to folks who use social media, more specifically Twitter, to develop and maintain a PersonalLearningNetwork. Twitter for professional learning is not a passive exercise. This requires work.
In retrospect, the routines I’ve adopted wind up looking quite a bit like the advice you might find elsewhere, but now I’ve lived the benefits of establishing a space for work at home, keeping regular working hours, taking frequent breaks, and getting plenty of exercise. . After work hours, it’s important to still get plenty of exercise.
