They learn faster when you’re listening to them and come to believe they are worthy. Students will learn to participate quickly. In that way, they learn to be tolerant and patient. Do set the tone for respectful learning. Do support social, emotional and academic learning. That’s OK.

After being involved in social media for over a decade, I have made a few observations that might be helpful to folks who use social media, more specifically Twitter, to develop and maintain a PersonalLearningNetwork. Using Twitter for professional learning requires a collaborative mindset. This requires work.
As we come to the end of 2017 and go into the new year, I am doing a bit of self-reflection on my own personallearning. I have spent more time listening to music just to enjoy it, more time pushing myself when I exercise (not just going to the gym, but using that time wisely), and taking time to meditate and clear my mind.
