While PLNs have grown in popularity, the most popular form of professionallearning embraced by schools and districts still consists of more traditional pathways, such as bringing in guest speakers, workshops, or holding annual events. Efficacy is about showing the impact of investments made in professionallearning.
No matter your position in education, you have gone through some form of professional development. In many cases, the act of being “developed” comes in a variety of standard types such as workshops, mandated PD days, presentations, conferences, book studies, or keynotes.
As of late, I have been working with quite a few districts on personalization through a variety of blended learning strategies. My experience in this area began over three years ago, thanks to having the opportunity to coach teachers and administrators at Wells Elementary School. Challenge accepted!

I personally have used FlipSnack as a way of creating more interesting workshops instead of a powerpoint or Google Slides. So that was a great way from an elementary standpoint to use FlipSnack.
