4 – UDL – Universal Design for Learning Inaccessibility is still a major downfall of some onlinelearning implementations. Universal Design for Learning (UDL) ensures that lessons are accessible for every student. UDL is an excellent framework that can be used in any classroom.
One of my favorite blog posts to write last year was my choose your learning path adventure ! When working with Dr. Katie Novak on UDL and Blended Learning , we provided an example of transforming an Engage NY/Eureka elementary math lesson into a choose your learning path adventure.

It is a series of stations, or learning activities, that students rotate through. Typically, there is a teacher-led station, an online station, and an offline station. Elementary teachers may use their board to encourage a deep dive into a holiday, season, or weather pattern.
