The program aims to provide students with diverse opportunities and pathways to become future-ready graduates. Schools offer Computer Science 1 and 2 at the elementary level with the goal of integrating computer science into core content using tools like Scratch, Code.org and Minecraft.
Recently added lessons enable elementary students to explore the phenomena of seasonal change, travel back in time to a medieval castle, investigate animal habitats around the world, and more. Students will get a behind-the-scenes look at how comics and films come to life with insight from industry creators.
At the same time, schools are placing a stronger emphasis on mental health, equity, and future-ready skills, ensuring students are not only academically successful but also are prepared for the challenges of today’s every-changing world.
