That said, through my decade-long experience blogging and reviewing EdTech resources, I come to notice a common trend that I call 'outlier EdTech'. The latest trend in EdTech that I see currently gaining traction is Artificial Intelligence technologies.

There are various digital tools to use to create assessments most engaging of which are those that incorporate the principles of digital game-basedlearning.
Games, however, add that fun element to make learning less of a chore. A study by Kyli White and Leah McCoy confirm that game-basedlearning can significantly enhance student achievement and engagment. There’s some cool research on this, actually.
However, sales of mobilelearning, simulation-basedlearning, game-basedlearning, and “brain-training” software are all on the rise. These increases are cited as major factors in the global decline of computer-based educational and professional training software.
