The traditional forms of sit-and-get PD are giving way to MOOCs, webinars, Edcamps and flipped learning. Traditional PD models can be flipped too, where work is done before to learn basic skills via video or through course work. I’ve been a part of a lot of successful PD and been a part of a lot of not so good PD.

So you can put in things like video, and the video can be videos taken from YouTube so the video can actually be created by somebody else. Like your videos, you have to later go into Flipsnack and put your videos in but the basic content can be created in slides and then uploaded as a pdf to Flipsnack.

Interesting use of Seesaw by teacher who is facilitating: Student filled out a behavior worksheet when she was off task. Then posted a pic of it to Seesaw and did an audio reflection on it. Parents can then see what happened and discuss at home later.
