This past Saturday I attended Edcamp Boston, an "unconference" set in the wonderful Microsoft NERD center overlooking the Charles River in Cambridge. Student devices are mobile, personal and available where and when students need them. I would advocate for any mobile device solution that put access into every student’s hands. Branching out in to non-tradtional (like edCamps) is better. Desktops don’t qualify as student devices.
