It’s no wonder there is no widespread adoption of e-learning and edtech across the institution. And the everything else bit is rated much higher in terms of career progression. MOOCs are great ideas, but assessment and feedback loops and certification are among the many issues holding them back. Comparing an unsupported MOOC from 2008 to an in-person college experience isn’t apples to apples. Reduce the college dropout rate to closer to 10% (than the current 40%+). Which is dumb.
