Finally, microcredentials or digitalbadging are another terrific way to make learning more fun. Digitalbadging is a tool used in professional development to give teachers tangible goals. It validates their skills by giving them a badge to display. It’s a great way to break out of the old standby art lesson.

In March of 2009, I began to use Twitter, and it was at this time that I began to create a Personal Learning Network (PLN). The experiences where I had some level of choice were the most meaningful to me and resulted in real changes to my educational practice. Tom Murray and I have watched many book studies and Twitter chats unfold since the release of the book in June of 2017. Throughout the course, participants will be encouraged to reflect and share their learning using the hashtag #LT8keys on Twitter and/or LinkedIn. The reaction to Learning Transformed has been truly humbling.
