I knew that Mastery/Competency-BasedLearning was what I was passionate about, so in the 2019-2020 school year, I went back into the classroom to implement Mastery Learning. My students were learning at a higher level, and the mastery approach mitigated many of the learning gaps caused by the pandemic.
