In order to give each staff member a greater level of autonomy, I removed all top-down mandates such as keeping a log and watching a certain number of PD 360 videos. Throughout the year they met to develop extensive binders to compile resources related to text complexity as outlined by the CommonCore Standards.

One of the things that we looked at when we moved to fully remote learning was a flippedclassroom. Kids would watch an instructional video at home and then get one-on-one or group support from the teacher in the virtual room. Students love the immersion videos and are willing to work through thorny questions to solve problems.

EDpuzzle - One of my favorite safe site that does not require a student email to take a digital video and "make it your own". Educators also have the ability to embed a quiz into the video for assessment and Flipped Learning. Educators can use it to Flip a Lesson or for Blended Learning by embedded a poll or quiz into a video.
