What’s more, game-basedlearning (GBL) can address some of the most common roadblocks encountered by math teachers and students alike. Adaptive GBL platforms can help by doing the heavy lifting, handling instructional planning, delivery, and data collection in mixed ability classrooms.
This is going to be one of my most ambitious posts yet, as I have curated a gigantic list of my favorite sites/apps for GameBasedLearning (a.k.a I''ve done posts on educational iOS Apps and Educational Online Games but I have never combined the two and curated a list that specifically deals w/ GBL. Gamification).
While engaging activities often make learning more exciting, they do not always translate into increased practice and improved skill development. Game-basedlearning, however, has been proven to engage students in a way that encourages increased practice.
BrainRush is one of my favorite new sites for GameBasedLearning (GBL).
