Over the past year, I have been blessed to support the Davis School District in Utah with their personalizedlearning initiative across the district. Snow Horse Elementary was not one of them. A few district administrators and I visited classrooms in March 2019. We saw personalization in every classroom.
At its core, personalizedlearning is about recognizing that no two students learn exactly the same way. It moves beyond the one-size-fits-all approach by focusing on each student’s strengths, needs and learning pace. In April 2019, we began our journey to personalizelearning.
Education Galaxy supports math, reading, language arts, and science at the elementary level (K-6). This combination of reward and reinforcement has been proven to be highly effective with elementary school learners. The ease of use also puts valuable instructional time back into the classroom. I love visiting classrooms around the country to not only support but to see educators in action. In my opinion, I learn just as much, if not more, from them as they hopefully do from me.
