Stop me in the hall, catch me on Edmodo, tweet to me, and I will just start gushing out of control. Sounds redundant, "professional educator," but really it isn''t--everything I have been doing has been outside of the classroom, yet still grounded in my teaching practice. So, I will just sum it all up here.

Edcamps and TeachMeets are another example of how this can happen. We all became apart of the conversation when we did Rocks, Sucks, Not Sure with various topics in student research like Term Papers or Online Citation Makers or the use of Wikipedia in the classroom. We had to get up and move around the room and defend our position.

KtBkr4 My wife is doing Edmodo but a different spin than you are so both would be great. Presenting at Edmodocon 2013 connected us to Edmodo staff who then encouraged us to submit our session, "Classroom Gymnastics: Using Edmodo to Flip and Blend your Class," to present at ISTE 2014 in Atlanta.

Steven Anderson : I really liked his idea of using Edmodo and Twitter to connect with his new teachers and help them with the tools they needed and used in the classroom.

There was a time in my academic career that I thought that every classroom should have an interactive whiteboard.
