Many people in education talk a great game when it comes to the effective use of technology, but the results (lack there of) speak for themselves. Don''t wait another second to start building a PersonalLearningNetwork (PLN). That is not BYOD. It is time for the profession of education to catch up to society.
Students need to be empowered to think at the higher levels of cognition while applying what has been learned in relevant contexts. As technology changes, so must pedagogy, especially assessment and feedback. Additionally, leaders need and should want access to the latest trends, research, and ideas in the field.
