The amount of new acronyms in the educational technology world is staggering… and often overwhelming for educators. BYOD – Bring Your Own Device. BYOT – Bring Your Own Technology. CREATE – Collaboartion, Resources, Educate, Apps, Technology, Enriching. ICT – Information Communications Technology. Vlog – Video Log.
Technology seems to be involved nowadays in most aspects of education and many schools are adopting it quite well, whether it’s adopting BYOD initiatives, blended learning, flippedclassrooms , creating content using authoring tools, or using a learning platform. You see where I’m getting, right?

Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) signals to kids that teachers know and understand their basic makeup. BYOD enhances learning, increases productivity, allows students to grow their research skills, and gives teachers the chance to teach appropriate digital responsibility.
Technologies like Augmented Reality, that enrich the standard methods of imparting education are always in demand, now more than ever. A big disadvantage of using the traditional Instructor-led classroom is its inability to address individual learner needs, leading to a lack of attention and interest among students.
