They were just coming in and sitting down, reluctantly opening up their books. Between attending FlipCon 2013, EdcampHome, EdmodoCon 2013 , Google Apps Training & TeachMeetNJ, working with the Gobstopper folks, AND having the release of my first ever contribution-to-a-third-party-published-book ( Flipping 2.0 ) AND meeting face to face with some amazing folks from my PLN, I couldn''t have asked for a better summer.
On one day in August before the students came, and again in January of this year we set up Edcamp style PD days. While our PD days weren't like the traditional Edcamp style (we actually came up with the choices instead of the teachers making the choices), the teachers found the days to be useful.
