In June, the Edcamp Community joined our Digital Promise family. The Edcamp Community supports educators to organize and participate in participant-driven professional learning designed by and for educators. Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, Edcamps were typically in-person and locally focused. It wasn’t an easy moment.

The Edcamp movement is another example of educators organizing themselves for the simple purpose of sharing practices, successes, and miscues. To cement your bond, attend a local conference together or an Edcamp. I love the Nuzzel app, which shows the blog posts shared most often by the people I follow on Twitter. Blog your reflections about a lesson with potential. Hashtags are also how you connect with people in edtech chats. Don't follow people aimlessly.
