Blogging is a popular activity in classrooms today because it allows students to share their writing with a broader audience and teachers to communicate with parents. How to set up a blog will depend on your platform, and is pretty easy to figure out with all of the “how-to” videos and help center collections. Blogs as ePortfolio.

My favorite method for sharing student work is on a Google Site or a Blogger blog. Blogger is a traditional blogging platform that allows for comment. With a blog post, we can share student work and collect feedback from other students, parents, or experts in the field of study. They will need those digital citizenship skills!

Parents only see their own students' work unless the teacher posts to the blog function. Great way to teach digital citizenship and appropriate online behavior. Please see specifics on my re-use policy before re-posting/re-using any of my blog content. Students can comment on each others' work.
