3 – SocialMedia Tools in Teaching – Using Them the Right Way I’ve seen socialmedia used in ways that aren’t very safe or effective. For example, when teachers post their video conferencing links publicly on socialmedia, they are unknowingly allowing unwanted attendees to enter their online classrooms.
It also provided friends and family with an update on my life in a pre-socialmedia world. As an advocate of blendedlearning, my focus is on helping teachers design and facilitate learning experiences that are differentiated for specific groups of students and personalized for individual learners. This is not new.

I typically like to schedule my class capstone projects at a time when administrators can watch the presentations and we can celebrate the learning. Product display is also a great time to take pictures to share on socialmedia and publicly celebrate learning with public displays and student-created bulletin boards.
