Practices such as BYOD, 1:1, blendedlearning, personalized learning, classroom and school redesign, branding, makerspaces, professional learning, etc. This need served as a call to action of sorts and catalyzed my current work.
BLearning – BlendedLearning (using a range of multimedia and strategies). BYOD – Bring Your Own Device. BYOL – Bring Your Own Learning. NGDLE – Next-generation DigitalLearning Environment. API – Application Programming Interface. AUP – Acceptable Use Policy. BYOT – Bring Your Own Technology.
Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) signals to kids that teachers know and understand their basic makeup. BYOD enhances learning, increases productivity, allows students to grow their research skills, and gives teachers the chance to teach appropriate digital responsibility.

Blendedlearning combines traditional, in-person learning with digitallearning, so that students can experience both forms. Digital citizenship refers to appropriate and responsible use of technology.
