Technology seems to be involved nowadays in most aspects of education and many schools are adopting it quite well, whether it’s adopting BYOD initiatives, blended learning, flippedclassrooms , creating content using authoring tools, or using a learning platform. They’re very traditional.

With the use of BYOD and 1:1 programs gaining popularity, students should be aware of the issues involved with technology. Digital citizenship refers to appropriate and responsible use of technology.
While many schools have 1:1 programs, there are also the BYOD schools. The presenters use tools to add callouts, quick assessments, and other elements to make the videos more interactive. For instance, the same video can be saved with different levels of difficulty in the assessments.
I found that Jackie Gerstein ''s session on the FlippedClassroom at Edubloggercon gave me incredible perspective. Later in the day when I had a moment to ponder this, I realized the possibility of the FlippedClassroom was no longer something intangible to me that only districts with lots of money and high SES could do.

So, I''m very intrigued by the flippedclassroom concept, but I have a sense of deja vu. I''ve been teaching for over 13 years and I''ve seen my share of trends: curriculum mapping, student-centered learning, cooperative learning, authentic assessing, NCLB.and the beat goes on.and will go on. and on and on.
