In my most recent school role, I was tasked with leading our school’s transition to personalizedlearning. I now see that personalizedlearning environments require personalizedlearning strategies. Instead of creating the playlist cycle of doom, we need to work toward personalizedlearning strategies.
But just as continual development of the iPhone eventually renders older prototypes obsolete; so too are new educational technologies pushing us past differentiation towards personalizedlearning. Transitioning to a personalizedlearning environment doesn’t happen overnight—it’s a process.
