On December 1st, 2012, educators from NJ and surrounding areas congregated at Linwood Middle School in North Brunswick for EdcampNJ''s free day of professional development. I use a mix of devices with some days in the class being BYOD and others using the school''s computers and netbooks (as available).
Prior to joining Leander ISD, Dr. Gearing served as Superintendent of Dripping Springs ISD from 2012-2019 and as Superintendent of Marshall ISD from 2009–2012. Super-Connected is a free professionallearning community on edWeb.net for school superintendents, district leadership, and aspiring district leaders.
All of the presenters said that due to the growing sophistication of attacks, they include cybersecurity training as part of professionallearning. Prior to coming to Highline in 2012 Dr. Enfield served as Interim Superintendent for Seattle Public Schools. They educate staff about the types of attacks as well as what to do.
