Education is no longer contained within classroom walls or the physical site of a school building. Learning isn’t confined to the eight hours between the school bells chimes or the struggling budget of an underfunded program. Today, education can be found anywhere, by teaming up with students in Kenya or Skyping with an author in Sweden or chatting with an astrophysicist on the International Space Station.
Theres no doubt that artificial intelligence specifically, generative artificial intelligence has the capability to radically reshape the education landscape. Yet, even as many schools begin to implement the technology into administrative and teaching workflows, teach it to students and encourage users to explore its possibilities, still other schools aim to block it entirely.
Interactive presentations aren’t just a nice-to-havethey should be your go-to approach in the classroom. Lets be honest: nobody gets excited about sitting through a dry, teacher-centered lecture. Your students definitely dont. But flip the script and make things interactive, and suddenly, theyre paying attention, asking questions, and actually enjoying the lesson.

Its been a little over a year since Tram Gonzalez opened Color Wings Preschool in her home in Portland, Oregon.
